Intermedia Studio of Fine Art Major, Faculty of Art and Design ITB held an International Seminar on Monday, July 1st, 2013. This event was held in the Auditorium of Campus Center ITB. The International Seminar took the theme of New Media Art in Southeast Asia. The seminar invited speakers coming from Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. The event is supported by ASEAN and Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia.
Research topics in this seminar are the history and development of new media art in Southeast Asia such as in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, and the Philippines. The speakers of the seminar are Mr. Nguyen Nhu Huy (Vietnam), Mr. Ark Fongsmut (Thailand), Mr. Hasnul Saidon (Malaysia), Mr. Krisna Murti, and Mr. Agung Hujatnika (Indonesia).
